Week in Review

This week in Science, we had lessons on electricity/lightning and the water cycle. In Cultural, we had lessons on Christmas traditions around Europe and throughout North America. The children learned that the nutcracker originated in Germany, the pinata is a special game children play in Mexico, decorating gingerbread houses is a tradition in the United States, and many more! The children have been busy creating some wonderful Holiday crafts to share with you. Thank you so much for our Holiday gifts Ms. Cristina and I received, they are very much appreciated. We are so grateful to have a great group of students and parents.

Happy Holiday's and have a wonderful New Year! See you in 2019.

Week in Review

This week has been busy! The children have been practicing for the Holiday Program and they are going to do great!!! We also have had lessons on different types of weather, what customs and traditions come from Germany and England, and read a book about our artist, Claude Monet. We hope everyone enjoys the program tonight.

JBMA Community Fundraising

Below is a link to a video our PTO President has put together explaining the fundraising opportunities.

Amazon Smile is a painless way to shop for the holidays and raise money for improvements to our school. All you do is go to Amazon Smile, select Joseph S Bruno as the charity recipient and a percentage comes directly to us. Easy!

Publix Partners no longer uses the scan card. You'll log into your account info and select Joseph Bruno Montessori Academy. Put your phone number in at checkout and the purchase is designated to us. Also easy!

Planet Fundraiser Download the app, select us as the cause, allow notifications. There are a ton of participating local businesses and restaurants and the app will remind you when you are nearby! Fun and easy!

Boxtops for Education are still going strong! Look for a collection page in your child's backpack. Clip the boxtop, tape or glue them down. Once it's filled up, send it back to school! Super easy for kids to do!

Week in Review

We have been practicing for our upcoming Holiday Program on Thursday, December 6! The children are so excited to be performing on the stage. We have been continuing our study of Europe by having lessons on animals from Europe and foods from Europe. The classroom looks a little different because we are getting ready for the Holiday Season! We have a classroom Christmas Tree and new practical life jobs out on the shelves. The children will also be making some fun crafts.
